Abstract | Deep brain stimulation (DBS) is a surgically-based treatment for advanced Parkinson’s disease (PD) that has undergone technological developments. Artificial intelligence (AI) has been used successfully in many healthcare problems, including DBS. Indeed, DBS method is expected to change with the increasing growth of artificial intelligence, especially machine learning methods.
