| Abstract | Since the introduction of schizophrenia, different approaches have been developed to ameliorate the symptoms or improve the quality of life in patients who are diagnosed with schizophrenia. Currently, scientists around the world are developing new techniques to treat and rehabilitate people with schizophrenia. One of these techniques is virtual reality, which benefits the patient through simulating the experience of acting in a variety of settings and interacting with virtual characters.
