AbstractBackground: The modification of the adipokine levels can be important for the long-term prevention of systemic inflammation related to obesity in children. Objective: The current study aimed to investigate the effects of regular aerobic exercise on the serum levels of plasminogen Activator inhibitor-1(PAI-1) and Adiponectin in obese girls. Methods: This semi experimental research, 14 obese girls were selected through purposeful and accessible sampling and randomly divided into as follow: control, exercise training groups. Aerobic exercise was consisted of exercise movements at 50% to 70% maximal heart rate and 3 sessions /week for 8 weeks. Fasting blood samples were collected before and 48 hour after the last intervention. PAI-1 and Adiponectin levels were measured by ELIZA method.
