AbstractDwarfism occurs when a medical condition causes short stature due to slow growth. Achondroplasia is the commonest form of dwarfism. Some pregnancy problems like significant increase in cesarean section rate, respiratory distress towards the end of pregnancy, preterm labor and delivery and abortion are more prevalent in these patients. Management of pregnancy and delivery are challengeable for obstetricians and anesthesiologist and there are controversies. This case report discusses a 30-year-old achondroplastic primigravida Baluch woman at 37 weeks gestation. She weighed 44 kg and her height was 110 cm. The patient had an emergency cesarean section under general anesthesia.en
