AbstractBackground: In spite of the physical and mental complications due to induced abortion, on communities, especially in society Muslim, this study to assess women’s attitude towards induced abortion in health care centers of the Social Development Research Center in Kermanshah.Methods: Descriptive – Analytical study designs were conducted among 400 women. These women who attended the Health Care Center and were married women in their fertility aged (15-49 years). A self-administered questionnaire was used to measure attitude of women’s towards induced abortion. A pilot testing was conducted for reliability and validity on questionnaire. The statistical was applied on the data descriptive – analytical.Results: The ages average ranged from, 31.3±12.66 years, 34.6% of Diploma graduates and 61.2% were housewife. The negative attitude was 23.3%, positive attitude were 18.3%, and while the remaining participants were neutral attitude toward induced abortion. The results indicated that there is a significant association between attitude toward induced abortion, such as occupation, education level, and number of abortion (P = 0.001), the higher the number of abortion had the more positive attitude towards the induced  abortion.Discussion: Findings in this study showed that Majority of the participants had neutral attitude toward induced abortion. These indicate that it is need to planning to train women, which can be for prevention of the disproportionate.  en
