Abstract

Background: Alopecia areata is a chronic inflammatory disease that involves the hair follicle.�Clinically, patients with alopecia areata may have patchy or confluent hair loss on the scalp or body so we conduct a study to compare the demographic aspects of patient with limited and diffuse type of alopecia areata.
