Abstract
The aim of this presentation is to provide a brief overview on the broad spectrum of gastrointestinal radiology. The discussion will include disorders of esophagus, diaphragm, stomach, small bowel, and colon. Each organ-focused section is subdivided into parts related to diseases or findings of that organ. For each condition some illustrations will be shown and the key facts will be discussed. The imaging modalities consist of plain films, barium studies, ultrasound, and CT scan. The ultimate goal of this presentation is to provide the essential knowledge that is needed to make an accurate diagnosis with gastrointestinal imaging.
