Split Cord Malformation with Single Dural Sheath: A Case Report

Abstract

Introduction: Diastematomyelia, also known as a split cord malformation, is a rare congenital anomaly in which the spinalcord splits into two hemicords within a single dural sheath (type II) or double dural tubes (type I) along a section of its length.Diastematomyelia accounts for about %5 of all congenital spinal defects.
