Abstract
With respect to increased number of pediatrics operations by pediatric surgeons, the identification of epidemiological patterns of these surgeries is a matter of important consideration. In this study, 644 children who were operated by pediatric surgeons at Qods Children Hospital in Qazvin during a two-year period evaluated. Results were analyzed by statistical method.
The most common operative surgeries were routine (35%), important (29%), and neonatal (8.3%) surgeries. Review of educational programs associated with the area of pediatric surgery is recommended.
