Abstract

Background: With regard the high prevalence of anxiety in adolescents and the influence of environment on it, this research was designed to evaluate and compare the anxiety level between the adolescents who living in parenteral home and those who were institutionalized. Methods and Materials: The number of samples was 268 (134 in parenteral home and 134 in institutionalized group). The Cattell Anxiety Questionnaires was used as the device of study. The statistical analysis was performed by the significance bearing discrepancy between two independent ratios (z test).
