Abstract | Abstract Background: Recurrent aphthous stomatitis (RAS) is one of the most common diseases of oral cavity which affects 10-20 % of normal population . It vastly affects the patient's nutrition, oral hygiene and social communication. Objective: To determine the effect of sucralfate suspension on RAS treatment. Methods: In this double blined clinical trial, 78 patients with RAS (aged 15-57 years old) were studied: group A received sucralfate suspension and group B received a similar suspension without sucralfate as a mouthwash, for one minute three times a day each.
