AbstractCervical elongation (CE) can occur in company with pelvic organ prolapse (POP). Preoperative cervical length assessment is imperative before decision-making for pelvic organ prolapse surgical repair. POP-Q is not effective at recognizing supra-vaginal elongation. In this case study, we are reporting a 70-year-old woman, a case of recurrent POP after sacrospinous hysteropexy, that POP-Q failed in diagnosing supra-vaginal elongation preoperatively. POP-Q is not effective at recognizing supra-vaginal elongation.en
