AbstractAnkylosing spondylitis (AS) is an inflammatory rheumatic disease. Phlegmasia cerulea dolens is a severe form of deep vein thrombosis characterized by swelling, pain, and bluish discoloration. Treatment delay may cause venous gangrene, tissue ischemia, limb loss or death.
