| Abstract | Diagnosis of acute toxoplasmosis during pregnancy is important because of the risk of congenital toxoplasmosis and teratogenicity of pyrimethamine particularly in the early months of pregnancy . Incorrect results of diagnostic tests can complicate the diagnosis and treatment of toxoplasmosis during this period .
