Abstract

Introduction: : : Gestational diabetes is the most common metabolic complication of pregnancy. Approximately 1 to 14 percent of pregnancies are complicated by diabetes Early diagnosis and proper management of gestational diabetes (GDM) can decrease prenatal, neonatal and long-time infant problems and complications. This 2012 study investigated whether high maternal Hemoglobin (Hb) level in the first trimester would be associated with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus in kermanshah city.
