AbstractIntroduction: The educational system of each country encounters the problem of “Learning disorder", which leads to academic underachievement and backwardness of student. Importanly, The aim of this study was to provide a self-help eductional software for parents of these students trying to improve their academic performance. Materials and Methods: This clinical trial study was conducted using pretest and posttest with control group. The study population consisted of elementary school students whose "Learning disorder, reading type" was diagnosed by pediatric and adolescent psychologist using diagnostic tests and clinicl interview. Grop A carried out the exercises of self-help software for parents.Group B practiced the same exercises through instructions of occupational therapist. Group C had no intervention and was considered as control group.
